Mix flour,
baking powder, and salt in bowl. Cut in Crisco with
two knives or pastry blender, until mixture looks
like coarse meal. Add milk and stir until blended.
Transfer dough to a board or pastry cloth, which has
been dusted with flour. Knead lightly. Roll dough
1/2 " thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Bake
on ungreased baking sheet at 425 degrees F, for 12
to 15 min.
Makes16 medium biscuits. |
