| In a large bowl, combine flour,
butter, shortening, and 1/4 t. salt. Blend
ingredients until well combined. Add water toss
mixture until water is incorporated. Form dough into
a ball and knead lightly. Dust with flour, wrap in
wax paper and chill 1 hour. Divide dough in small
balls and press into small cupcake pans(36). Divide
cheese evenly in pastry cups. Beat eggs until lemon
colored. Add milk, cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
Pour over grated cheese. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15
minutes, or until golden brown. |
